Charter for the Order of the Sapling of Caerthe (Maid/Page of Caerthe)
Constitution for the Order of the Sapling of Caerthe
I. There shall exist in the barony of Caerthe an award known, subject to the approval of the College of Arms, as the Order of the Sapling of Caerthe, which may be given by the Coronet, subject to the pleasure of the Crown, to those individuals fifteen years of age or less, whose consistent conduct and achievements reflect the ideals of the Society, through their service to the Barony, or by achievements in the Arts & Sciences, and by being exemplars of chivalry and general courtesy.
II. The holders of this award shall be styled as Companions of the Sapling of Caerthe and Maid or Page of Caerthe and shall be entitled to place the letters C.S.C. after their names.
III. The insignia of the order shall be the registered badge of the order: "(Fieldless) An aspen tree proper issuant from an egg fesswise fracted Or."
IV. The award carries neither arms nor precedence.
V. Amendments to this constitution shall be made by the Coronet of Caerthe after due consultation with the Crown.
VI. The companionship of all previous members of the order is hereby confirmed.
