Book of Ceremonies for Caerthe

This section of the webpage houses information on the Caerthe Book of Ceremonies. This includes ceremony texts for Orders and Awards, Fealty Oaths, Charters, Scroll Texts, and anything else that makes its way into the book of ceremonies.

Ceremonies

These ceremonies are generally configured for a Baron and Baroness. A few have been modified for a single person. When using a ceremony for two people with a single person, be careful to change all appropriate plurals to singulars, such as "we" to "I".

Ceremony for the Officer Oath - Canton (Baron/Baroness)

Herald:

Their Excellencies call before them the officers of the Canton of ___________, so that they may hear their oaths of service.

Baron:

Good officers of our Canton of _____________, you have served our canton and our barony well as administrators and advisors, and we thank you for your past service. It is our wish to confirm you in your offices. If you wish to continue in your service as officers, swear this oath of service:

Oath:

This day do I swear to serve _____________ and Caerthe; I pledge to do my duties, by the laws of the kingdom, always striving to render faithful counsel to the Baronial Officer in whose service I am, and to my Baron and Baroness, representing well the best interests of the canton. So say I ________________________.

Baron:

We accept your oaths of service and pledge to you that we will protect and defend you with all justice and honor.

Baroness:

Be ever mindful that you serve _______________, Caerthe, and the Outlands best by serving the needs of all her people..

Herald:

{With Coronet approval: cheers.} You have Their Excellencies' leave to depart.
