Classes:
Heavy Fighting Collegium ~ 10:30 - 4:00
Unto the Mighty Outlands, starting immediately after opening Court there will be a Fighting Collegium! Brought to you by the members of the Chivalry in the spirit of 12th Night, a night of giving and sharing to help begin the new year ready with knowledge of the many weapon styles in the Outlands. If the weather permits we will armor up and begin indulging ourselves on this abundance of knowledge outside. If the weather does not allow us to go outside, we will be inside the dome on the north side.

Basic Sword and Shield by Viscount Sir Demtri
Advanced Sword and Shield by His Majesty, King of the Outlands
Glaive by Duke Wolfgang Grothe De Verron
Two Swords by Count Thorbrandr (T-bone)
Madu by Sir Kujin

Introduction to Venetian Rapier ~ 10:30 - 1:00
Introduction to Venetian Rapier as taught by Nicoletto Giganti relying on his 1606 manual as translated by Tom Leoni.
"I find Giganti's work to be the most approachable period manual. It is a concise introduction to the Italian rapier tradition, with only 58 pages in the translated version. If you are studied in any of the many masters who were inspired by Agripa, then this material will feel very familiar, but with a slightly different and perhaps more pragmatic approach than Capo Fero or Fabris. Please bring a heavy rapier of appropriate length for your height and all required fencing armor. I will bring a few swords, but I will not be able to provide full loaner kits."
Please contact Don Domin d'Alsace at justin.cragin@gmail.com with any questions, or if you are interested in reviewing the manual before the class.

Embroidery-floss-covered buttons ~ 1:00 - 2:00

Furry Hat Class ~ 2:00 - 4:00
Baron Stephen and Mistress Amber will be teaching a furry hat class. This class will be limited to 10 people. The cost is $25.00 per person, and they walk away with a hat they've learned to make. Handouts will be available for $2.00 for those not making the hats in class. Materials included for making hats will be leather, felt, a tassel, sinew, needles and fox tails, as well as the handout. To sign up for this class please email Mistress Adelyn at aidlan@hotmail.com.

Feast:
Our feast will feature traditional dishes prepared from the wealth of the waters, fields and forests of Scotland and Ireland. In the depth of winter, whether in the castle of an Irish high lord or the keep of a Scottish laird, guests were assured of a warm welcome and a bounteous feast as the celebrations of Yule, Twelfth Night, and Hogmanay drove the dark and chill from the hall.

Feast space is limited to 120. There will be off-board seating available.

Please contact the Head Cook by December 15 with any allergy or food concerns.
